Mascara is a European funded project, under the INTERREG 111C West programme examining the potential of DRT services and how they can be built into regional transport strategies. It looks to build on best practice in technology, operation and management already established in DRTS in different regions. To encourage promotion and dissemination of the project proposals.

MASCARA has developed a website to be used by the partners, public authorities and DRTS operators. MASCARA will produce guidelines for the deployment, operation and management of DRTS in Europe and organise a final DRT workshop for policymakers, local authorities, public transit companies, citizens and local associations
