The Angus Transport Forum has now become a partner in the Wisetrip Project

With the successful Conference and Workshops now behind us, the Angus Transport Forum is now beginning a substantial update of this website. Part of this process will include making the services which the Forum offers to members of the public, more accessible.

The first activities will be

1. a completely new system for online booking of all the Angus Transport Forum minibuses. This a should greatly improve the booking facility and will benefit all the groups, schools and other organisations who regularly hire our minibuses - as well as any group which wants only the occasional minibus hire.


2. a comprehensive review of the transport details provided in the TRANSPORT section of the website.
This will include updating the information about local and national travel possibilities which can be accessed by clicking the TRANSPORT button at the top of this page. If you know of any details (such as names, addresses and telephone numbers) which you believe should be altered or included, please let us know.

Angus Transport Forum has begun a process of updating its website. We would like your ideas, comments and suggestions for further improvement.

Angus Transport Forum (ATF) is an independent charity founded in 1995 to represent the public transport interests of voluntary organisations and communities in the area.

The main purpose of this web portal is to promote the wide range of transport services currently available in Angus. Our FORUM section (click the FORUM button above to see more) allows residents and visitors to highlight and discuss issues relating to transport provision in the area. The discussion groups provide an ideal platform for users, transport providers and statutory bodies to comment on the issues raised.

* Carrying out research and development into community based, Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) solutions.

* Provision of wheelchair accessible minibuses to our 125+ member organisations.

* Training Services for passenger transport users and operators including voluntary groups.

* Identifying local needs through six local user groups.
